Charleston Dyno Day @ Performance Diesel

Hey where having a dyno day in Charleston Sc in late October. We need 20 trucks to make it happen. $70 gets you at least 3-4 dyno runs and if theres only 20 of us he said we can run and tune as much as we want and do runs until someone else kicks us off the dyno. Come on down and bring some buddies it would great to meet some of you guys.

I'm in, and I think I can get at least one more. Once I get a date, I'll try to drum up some more business.

Lookin for 700 hp this time

If I can get this twin setup im looking at then I should right right there with you at 700hp. I would like to see 850 streetable but that may be to far out there for now. I hope to have a date set by next week.

Getting a Common Rail to live happily on the street with 850hp is very hard to do, or so I've been told. Theres a guy up here with a dyno proven 795hp at the rear wheels, and he's already talking about de-tuning it. Its an Automatic truck, so I'm guessing it's VERY close to pushing 850 at the flywheel.

I can tell you that 650 hp and upwards will break parts. You will also wander what happened to your tires.

Yup, anything above 650 is treading on thin ice. Ask Big Swole of the Garmon Camp, he now has a cut away common rail engine for display.

Billy we missed you at reynolds, you would have had a good chance in QD, there weren't many entries.

This was the first one I missed. There was just no way I could have gotten off work. This economy has got me working every sat. but I'm thankfull of still having a job.
Glad to see Robert Shaw won and sorry I couldn't have been there to see it.
