Hey Bob, does the smarty Jr. Have the ability to turn on the B-20 option in my truck?

Thanks,

I think that I'm in the same boat as you. I have the severe duty filtration kit ready to be put on the truck and I don't want to go to the dealer to enable the B-20 option.

He said it isn't a option.
So the dealership will have to do it.

Will this convert my S06 to POD or just update my tune that's already on the smarty. I'm running the TNT from around summer 2009.

If you have a non-POD S06 you will 1st have to convert it to a S06 POD, then load the latest S06 POD Revo or Revo TNT/R tunes on it.
After you have converted it, just refer to the S06 POD information & tunes from then on.

Have a look at the S06 to S06 POD conversion document. It explains this very well.

Any feedback from anyone?

I am very conservative in trying any new Smarty tunes. I always wait several months before trying a new release.
I'm running the Feb 16/2012 TNT/R tunes. I'm very happy with it & likely won't update it all summer.

I ran the older Revo regular level 7 all defaults (130HP) all last summer & it was smokey but ran just fine pulling our 10k lbs 5th wheel all over B.C.

I'm now running the Feb 16/2012 Revo TNT/R level 1 all defaults (130HP) for several months.
We just did a 1000km/600 mile run last week with the 5th wheel & the truck runs just fine as before but way less smoke.
My fuel mileage was 14.4 MPG Canadian, but I was driving slower due to all the cops around for the May long w/end.

IMO the new tunes are way smoother & way less smoky. I recommend to everyone to run the latest tunes.
As I've mentioned before, IMO EFI Live has forced the Smarty folks to improve their tunes.

I was going to jump to EFI Live for my 04.5 truck as soon as it became available but I'm very happy with the latest Smarty tunes now.

Are you getting the defueling, WTS light and RP hanging? I've read a lot about the TNT-R version recently released earlier this year of it having those symptoms. I want it but I don't wanna deal with those issues..

That's interesting, our trailers weigh about the same I think.
I was running lvl 5 on the Smarty for our local Easter trip, didn't seem to have the power the old BDTD did towing on "performance". Wonder if the new program has a little more?
I don't have the supporting mods to try the TNT, not even gonna try it.

The Smarty does seem less smoky though.

By RP hanging, you talking about how it takes a while for the revs to drop when you let off after really getting into it hard? That IS frustrating.

I have been following the WTS problems or changes closely but I have not had this issue nor any rail hang issues since loading the Feb 2012 TNT/R tunes 3 months ago.

Please note that my truck is very mild. Small 50HP DDP tips, Arson kit in the CP3.
