ROTM questions

What are the rules for picking the ROTM?

Who picks?

Why are mods excluded?

If the process were uniform, what if the mods were included? Would the earth stop spinning?

I opted to make a new thread thingy rather than further hijack the current ROTM.

Not just asking questions.

umm this months theme was all stock. No nothing. Maybe next month we will have just ol faithful truck (upgraded tranny, exhaust intake, gauges) stuff to make it more reliable. I kinda like the idea

i start out with finding a sponsor for that month and seeing what they want to see, then picking an eligibilty for htat month based on there sponsorship.. say they wanted to give a fueling box away, that wouldnt work if we had a only 12 valve month,,, so based on there giveaways i pick out what kinda theme we go with.

then i normally pick 3-5 trucks and in the moderator forum, we narrow it down to just 3.
we chose who is eligible based on many different things.
like august i chose those 3 pure based on who sent me the pix quickest.
it all matters on how we chose, normally i post up to see who is wanting to be in the next months after i know what themewe have decided on, then post who wants to be in it, and normally the quickest to email me pix are the chosen, ones who dont have any pix in the gallery are automaticly disqualified untill gallery has pix in it.. THIS IS WHY ITS UTERLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE PIX IN YOUR GALLERY...

the sponsors chose what they give, the least amount it can be is 50 bucks. most of them give 100. or 100 off or a combination of money and shirts and things of that sort.
its really hard to have a set prize as eveyrones truck is different and eveyone has different wishes. if one month someone with a fully built rig won a set of injectors and he already has a set of injectors it makes it kinda pointless.

and since rotm are non transferable/non sellable the easiest way for the vendors to set it up is like htat. of couse we could wait till the last of the month and say what the prize is going to be but hten we would lose intrest.

mods are disqualified..well because this is giving back to the members, we chose who should be in it, we chose the vendor... its not about us. its about you.

it would be slightly biased on having a mod in the rotm since we run it.

any more questions feel fre to ask

i hope i answered your question if not let me know i can kinda give you more o fa run down than this.

Thanks it helps to know there is more to it than pulling numbers out of a hat. Tho if it were done that way mods could play too
