The minimum post/active member is a good idea. IMO
I agree on this that way you can't sign up using another name and email address or get all your buddys that are not members to sign up to vote for you.

one thing I would like to say about this...
Im assuming (feel free to correct me if im wrong) that this is sponsored by AEM since it will be shipped directly to you by them. When AEM sees the picture of the finalist and it looks like a brand new filter the forum and the people who voted for him are going to look pretty dumb. I know if I were to donate an air filter to someone who had a fine one to start with Id never sponsor a contest again because something must have been up.
This is my point in why I was saying something about it. I understand that everyone can vote for how they please but it is the dirty contest not the clean or best riged.
If we have a contest on the best looking truck and the guy with all the rust and paint peelin and what not wins How would everyone feel then?

As far as the date goes yes it did change but it was change a week after the contest was started, not the day or week before it ended. and as far as geterdid winning it if they didn't change the date. That would not be true either way. Andy still would have sent out an email few days before it ended and everyone else would have started voting the same as they did now.

As dirty as those air filters are,I sure hate to see if the fuel filters look the same way. Keep up the good work on poor maintenance guys.

Well, dirty is dirty and the Hammer's was with out a doubt. Looking like he vacumed the road with it.

Seeing's believing and it was good enough for me.

Congrats, Chuck the paper and hope you benefit from the new system.

Ah,so he is the reason we all had to go to the new playground to play.

Signal73's new forum name=Casper
So then he will be able to disappear at will just like his posts did..

Brian..
Another idea I have seen on the polls on other boards is once members have voted their names show who they voted for in the poll area itself.

GETERDID...

Chill Son,you'll blow a headgasket!.

John..
I am lost officially now, someone tell me which way the bus went.

Congratulations Hammer! I will get in touch with you soon to get you your prize!

I apologize for the date/time misunderstanding. This was not intentional, I told the system to stop the poll in 30 days, and I was too busy yesterday(the 5th) to catch what was going on.

Anyways, thanks again everyone for participating! I apologize to anyone that had to endure childish drama.
