its not the baddest but photobucket is being stupid. so its what i got. i had a yoke break and the shaft broke tranny lines, ripped out any wires close to it and broke all the linkage rods to both the tranny and transfercase. but i am posting a picture of my tranfercase when it blew up. i will post up my broken yoke pics later just for sharing purposes.

Cracked my head in three places and warped it .008" out of spec. Not much carnage in the picture, but its the only one I took.
Sheared input shaft and a Valair single disc that got hot a few too many times.

Hello. Allow me to introduce myself as Will, the "one call does it all" guy. This is not a sob story first of all but it is the God-honest truth. I had just about reached rock bottom due to identity theft from a close friend led to me learning a car had been purchased in my name after he took the title to my sweet baby 5spd ranger and used it as a lien. It was repossesed even though it was paid for. This led to a decline in my academic performance and lost all scholarchips. Due to the circumstances I had been battling a serious opiate addiction which not only shamed myself but my family as well. All of a sudden, a 1994 dodge ram 2500 12v cummins that I remember when it was new ( It was a work truck and doubled as a machine with hydraulic power off the pto to pump bentonite into holes where wells were being drilled in Enoree, SC that extract methane to power generators that supply power to the BMW plant in spartanburg, SC. It had just come from a New Jersey landfill where a similar option was underway but due to wear and tear it was unable to make the trip back.) Struggling with withdrawals and major major depression I managed to work out with the company that was going to scrap the truck and bought it myself for $1000 flat, paid for in one year. The constant 20mpg allowed me to get to and from school taking courses for chemical engineering and continue my smalltime landscaping operation. Fixing this truck SAVED MY LIFE. I did not use methadone or suboxone. I used Cummins! I have been drug free since january 2010 and have blood tests ever since to prove it. One day in october of 2010 the emergency brake failed at the top of a hill in a field i was bushogging and rolled into a pond, under 20ft of water with the engine running. I got it running again that night and with a new gauge cluster and seat, I have since put 15000 trouble free miles on it. However, last thursday, I got into a wreck due to wet and oily roads and someone stopping on a green light. My physics teachings initiated a last minute decision to strike the corner of the f150 in a manner where the bed, not the frame took the brunt of the damage. Due to family situations with a suicidal sister and worsening my depression, I gave my insurance payment to my father since it is cheaper on his policy. He was dealing with his own mental anguish due to these circumstances and he did not make the payment for the insurance in time. Needless to say, the truck was badly damaged (hood, left fender, radiator, intercooler- toast. A gentlemen on this forum has allowed the sale of many of the needed parts (rad, intercooler, rad support) and soon the truck will have cheated death a third time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the truck. So, for a third time, my ram has cheated death. This truck and this forum has saved my life. I should be dead right now but instead I will have a bachelors in psychology at anderson university and am stringing Christmas lights as a part time job to help pay for the repairs. My grattitude to the members of this forum really does bring tears to my eyes. In two weeks, my ticket will be paid for and my truck will be completely repaired, by me, with the help of the forum members here. God bless you all.
