Air Dog Fleetgaurd cross reference numbers

Hi CF,

We have seen an increase the number of people asking for the Air Dog fuel filter cross reference numbers for fleetgaurd, 2Tone12V was nice enough to provide me with the numbers. I hope this is helpful!:thumbsup

I cannot find a single cross reference for these filters... Looks like its airdog or fleetguard.

Yeah, I looked for fleetguard cross references but couldn't find any...

I found a Baldwin Filter that I think would function just as well.

.875 -14 thread
3 inch od
5.88 inch length
estab. micron rating is 3
89.02% avg. efficiency

It aggravates the crap out of me that I can't walk in to my local parts store and buy a fuel filter for my truck when you get a bad tank of fuel and end up with a plugged filter and waiting 3 days for a stinking filter......

there is also a Napa/Wix pn# 3420 or 33420 it's a 6 micron filter.

Its 33420, and 6um nominal.. WIX generally won't publish absolute data.. they seem to think nominal is good enough. I would guess a 6um nominal filter is between 9-15 absolute.

yea for the napa filter just drop the one 3.

i was home and needed one asap, they had them on the shelf. i still have it on my truck running veg through it and no problems so far.
