install questions

I got a airdog 150 to go on my 01 2500 auto 4wd quad cab short bed. I was wondering is there a bracket that will actually fit my truck? What does it cost? I couldn't find it on the web. Second could you use the original fuel pick up as the return line for the pump? Couldn't you use the same fittings to hook it up as used for the 100 kit. This would close up the open line and you would not have to cut on the filler neck hose. I don't have the in tank pump.

Too late for that I already have it mounted. Doing my injection pump today. I have to say for the price of the kit I'm not really impressed. That bracket they send is a joke. I got it mounted and still not really happy with the location but I can't do any welding where the truck is. I may redo it later.

There is really not much they can do now. My time is gone and the pump is on the truck. Hopefully it's as good a pump as they say it is. That way I don't have to fool with it any more.

Somehow I missed this. But we do have a different mount for those trucks. I am pushing for that style bracket to become permanent and the bracket you have as optional. Because the majority of the sales goes to 98.5-02 trucks which includes many of the ext. cab short beds. Then my phone rings off the hook about it. I hope to have it changed very soon.

I have been thinking of getting a aux fuel tank in the bed and mounting it in the bed not sure if that would cause any issues. I have been doing a search for mounting pumps but have not found any like that yet.

I'm trying to get it changed for good. Ask for the bed mount bracket. Though I think JKidd at Diesel Auto Power may have got the last batch of them. I will have some more made and HOPEFULLY the parallel bracket will be only an option for the 98.5-02 trucks.

I got my fp sendng unit hooked up and I'm showing 18psi at idle and it only drops to 16 for a sec of so at WOT. I didn't put the 17 psi spring in. Is this normal?

I only have a few of the outside mount brackets for 1998-2002 short bed QC. They are in the kits for airdog 100/150 and airdogII 165. They sure went fast Anthony, glad I got tehm while they were available.
