WTF? Ridges!

Did you guys just forget to mention the ridges in the stock bucket? Like it wasn't relevant? This sucks. I didn't have anything to get these out, and now I'm stuck with my truck in pieces and the tank exposed because it was "conveniently" left out of the instructions.

Did my 05 a couple weeks ago and figured this out the hard way. If you have a small Dremel tool or something you can smooth these out (takes a while) and then drill the hole through. That is what I did. I should've taken some pics, but I was so frustrated at the time I forgot all about it.

Does your 03 have an in-tank pump from the factory?

The ones on the top of the in tank fuel canister. A Dremel tool will take them down nicely.
