Langs in williamsport are a good Diesel shop, I didn't think he did trans work . If he does they must be good at it.
Ashland Diesel is tops IMHO when it comes to Cummins they are a Cummins shop, and not far from me. Only 20 minutes from me.

Ops, sorry to be so late in the thread here.. but if you recall back to your last visit to the dyno event in Dillsburg (Spring Fling, 2007).. you hung around with myself and "jdogg56" for a good part of the day. He (Jesse) works for Apple Hill.

Now to answer your question (business wise).. I used to give them a lot of business but haven't done anything exclusive in over two years now.. Markup was getting outrageous and billed hours was getting a little too generous for the business. I know it's no better nowdays. All i can suggest is call and get a quote.

They wouldn't have any problems doing any of your proposed work. (Again, i know it's too late here in the thread) They installed my trans back in 2004, and had the VB out once to change shift springs and replaced a faulty governor pressure solenoid. (I was there for the VB job.) They've done several Goerend trans jobs since, 47 & 48 series transmissions.

Nick, I remember you. Apple Hill didn't want to do a VB/TQ, and Goerend referred me th Lannings. I shold be up there next week to get the truc done.

If so I'll most likely be in town there Wed night, gonna stay over if I have to, it's too far to have someone follow me up there and bring me back.
