Shippensburg Truck Pulls

Hi Folks
Well we never did get to hook up with Deiseldoll, so she may have to chime in on the who is who in some of the photo's.
But this place is a must see I was not prepared for the size of this event as far as the fair it self. This place was packed. We left Danville around 3:30 , stop to eat and got to Shippensburg around 6:30. Once we got off 81 and turn at the first fair ground sign we sat. Granny Gear the rest of the way. But it was worth the wait. A whole $4.00 and not admittance fee and we were in. What a deal We just followed the the smoke and it lead us right to the pulls.
OK it took me a bit to get out of the parking lot zig zagging threw the lanes checking out all the Cummins testosterone
Along with camera issues and wanting to get into the grounds I only have a few photo's.

Once in there were more cool trucks it made your head spin. But the business
trucks were sweet.

First off, I never did make it down.. was all ready to go and got a call from Lamar and said he couldn't make it because he didn't have his truck back together.. so we never made it down.. Which really sucks, because shippensburg is one of the best pulls all year!

anyhow, the fifth picture down, the white atrim diesel truck that's Andrew Stevens .. The "kickin' azz" ford.. that always gets a chuckle outta me is Kenneth Radford. And then the black dodge "wound tight" is ladell weaver. i was at the shop helping put together lamars truck when ladell came in, aparently he didn't have the great pull.. but i heard it was a fun and great night all around..

so who's going to the lebanon area fair tonight?!!

Hi DD7
Ya there were some issues, but he stepped up and tried to resolve but somethings just would not cooperate. We will certainly be back next year, I am still in awe with the size of he crowd. Bloom fair is rather huge and the next town over from me, but this one realy pack them in. They barely had to build a fence around the pulls it was bumper to bumper trucks with spectaters sitting in the beds. Wish I had my own camera I would have shot more photo's. I love to go to Lebanon but we have a time limit on a custom dash were buiding for another hot rod shop so my but is glude to the shop this eve.

The green reg-cab was a clean looking truck. nothing over done other than the stack to let you know he had it going on muscle wise. How did he do in the pull? Thanks for keepin us up to date for those who can't make it to the pulls. My step son ans his wife are coming out from Michigan next week . We might look for an event to bring them to.
