For not seeing a truck pull for many years, this show was nice turnout considering it was a makeup date for the rainout few wks ago.
When all was said and done, it seemed as though GM branded got the best of everyone overall in the sprints and pulls...

kinda three hours, 200+$$ in fuel just to get there and three times pullin over to get the boots back on you think the buck would say hey!! the drivers meeting is starting in 5 min jump in n well fill out hte paperwork when its over so we can get you guys in....guess their not as fireindly as the guys n gals here on the cf.

Hey Scott,

Did you guys stay anyway? (or p-offed and turned around )

I didn't get there til 7:30-7:40ish.. (Last hr decision as to whether I was going to be able to go or not)

I'm sure you knew a better way for me to get there..then the way I went.

Noticed the anouncer yelled out to the DTR forum spectators... but not anything to the CF crowd.

Not that I knew anyone else, I didn't see you there.


That's been the longest trip so far that I had taken with the truck and can't say I was too comfortable when I wasn't going over smooth road surface. ( I was bouncing around somthing fierece. I had just recently had oil/filter/lube/ tire rotation service at the dealer... which included the air pressure check... He aired my fronts to 60 and the rear to 70...even though I told him...I am not planning on hauling anything significant any time soon) I had previously had my fronts and backs...at 50lbs. He read my door sticker wrong.... as it called for 50 front and 40 back..empty weight.)) What a world of difference in comfort level...some 10-12lbs makes..
