I sold my quad because it is illegal to ride everywhere these days. Between that and having to register and insure your quad/bike it's ridiculous. I used to be able to hop on my quad and leave my back yard and ride for hours. Now you leave your property and cops are chasing you, or people are video tapping or waving guns at you. You are better off selling your quads/dirt bikes and buying a street legal motorcycle.

St.Clair if you want coal. I'm not sure on the price but you can also buy a permit to ride on all of Reading Anthracite's property(alot of coal). Contact Jack Rich Oil in Frackville for info.

If your wheeling illegally you should be fined BIG. This is why 4x4 enthusiast have such a bad rap whether it be with atvs or 4x4 vehicles. Go to a designated off road area and pay to wheel. That money goes for keeping the park in good shape, keeping the tree huggers from taking over everything, and keeping our sport alive.

If the property is stated owned we should not have to do anything in order to use the land. We pay taxes, but that isn't good enough they want make you pay for registration, insurance, and you can't even ride the way your machine was designed to. Even at the atv parks you get in trouble for riding over a speed limit....and they are usually extremely slow ones at that. The only thing to do for most sport quads is go to a race track and race, but not everyone wants to race their quads or dirt bikes.

The main problem around here is people from the city and suburbs of the cities moved to the country. Now that they are here they don't want to adapt to the country way of life and expect the country folk to adapt to their city dwelling lifestyles out here in the country.
