Fliter Minder

Sorry for all the questions tonight guys, but I'm on a roll with them. I bought some sewer pvc and connected my afe to it and then to my factory intake tube of the turbo. I drilled in the iat sensor, but not the filter minder, is this something I need to do and if so why?

No as long as you have the discipline to clean your filter on a regular basis. its pretty much a vaccum switch that when your filter gets dirty and doesnt allow air through it creates a vacuum before the turbo which pulls that filter minder. Leave it out just get into the habit of cleaning, say at every oil change or every other.

If your filter is the oiled kind they are usualy good for 15,000 miles or so before a cleaning is needed. Unless you drive in realy dusty conditions.
