You probably wouldn't see it if it did drop. 10% of 20mpg is 2 mpg. 10% of 50mpg is .5, LOL

two points,

1. the shell and sunoco gold diesel already have additives in the fuel (you can smell it, smell like power service/cetane boost)

2. Mostly all of the fuel in the GTA comes from the depot at Keele & Steeles. The company I work for uses about 200,000L of off road #2 per year. Our current supplier, gets the fuel from the same depot as our old supplier. The only difference is that the new supplier sells it to us at a cost much closer to "rack price".

That being said, I prefer sunoco gold, shell gold in second. Truck does not like petro canada or esso fuel.

Suncor and Shell have their own bulk tanks at the depot. I know the petro canada fuel is distributed through a bunch of other retailers.

Just thought i'd post this for reference purposes but I always fillup at the truck stop(Truck Town Terminals) in Milton at 401 and James Snow PKWY. I find there prices cheaper then shell, esso etc, and they sell BIO. My truck seems to get the best MPGs with that stuff(I only run it in the summer thats probably why) but it also keeps those VP44s lubed up.

That's far to come from Guelph oh wait I forgot we are driving cummins trucks.

I drove to buffalo 40 mins wait to get in and back 2 hour wait to get back into Canada plowed my 3 commercial sites and 30 drives all on one tank.

Is Bio better then gold diesel? I buy up the road from there at the Sunoco on Trafalgar and get gold for the price of Regular.

Anyone can buy from truck town? I'll have to see if it does anything better for the truck and Kubota in the summer.

Dave.

I'm usually in Milton for something at least once a week so I usually stop by. I actually live out in the sticks between Mohawk and UofG lol. Anyone can buy fuel there. As for the bio its definately better to run on the VP44 trucks since they were designed before all this low sulfur fuel came out. Basically its like adding two stroke to it and keeps the system lubricated. When I dyno'd my truck it was on Bio, they couldn't believe how little it smoked. On regular with the chip cranked I can black out intersections.

oh and another thing usually when I switch back to bio I run a couple tanks thru then swap out the filter, the bio is also great for cleaning out your fuel system.

Your by Hwy 6 then yea or 1 exit further close to where that window company has there office off the side of the 401 there.

Oh ok mine is an 08. If I hammer the pedel I'll leave a light cloud of black smoke but by no means a smoke screen.

Need to figure out how I can get it to roll coal when I want it to. Maybe the bully dog PMT will let me somehow.

Ya a chip and maybe some bigger injectors would help ya. Any fueling box should do the trick. Im not too familiar with the newer trucks, but from what I've read I'd do all the Deletes, should give you better mileage too(that is if you don't care about your warrenty)

Oh and once you start modding it'll never seem to end. I think next mod will be some 150 injectors so I'll be able to roll even more coal!
