Need some advice....

.... For a truck. I think my life is going pretty well thanks
Anyways.....

I was thinking of getting a dodge ram Cummins in the next month or so- Ignore the thread that says where can I get a 4cyl I think I am going to go with a dodge ram Cummins.

I was wondering how many of you Ontarioians (you dont have to be from ontario to post just let me know) have a manual and how many have a auto and your preference on both.

I found a few on Autotrader and kijiji for the right price, 10-17 thousand. 2 or 3 with a manual and a few more with the auto. Should I buy a stock one with no mods???????

Just let me know what you prefer and why... Thanks

I think if I could find one I would go with a reg cab long bed manual 12v or 24v I have little knowledge on either to me they are somewhat the same. One is somewhat mechanical and the other is more computerized .

I do not need the truck to tow a fifth wheel...
People tell me to get a gasser well I hate gas lol

Thanks
Hopefully some of the stuff I said makes sense
If you find something let me know......

Buy a truck from the southern US, save money and avoid RUST.

I would buy stock......doing your own thing with it is half the fun.
I would have gotten a standard, but my wife has to drive it once in a while,so I went with the auto. It costs a bit more to upgrade it if your going to add more power, but with a few thousand invested,it will hold 500hp pretty well.......not that I'm at 500hp yet,but getting there.....

Just my 2 cents...

Auto's cost a lot more to build to hold the power

all depends on what you want to do with it

Drag racing & playing on the street "Auto"

sled pulling and or like shifting "Stick"

buy stock and mod it yourself that way you know what kind of abuse it has had.

If only it had less kms
I know its an excuse but with harsh winters how much longer would this last?
