6th Annual NC Dyno and Drag Race

We have the dates for the "6th Annual Eastern N.C. Dyno and Drag Race."

The OFFICIAL DATES for this event will be Friday October 10th, 2008 and Saturday October 11th, 2008. We will have the drag race event at "Coastal Plains Dragway", 4744 Highway 258, Jacksonville, N.C. during their "Midnight Madness" Event. This is held in the evening from 8:00 P.M.-1:00 A.M. so the weather should be cool.

Then on Saturday from 9:00 A.M.-? we will have the dyno event at "Waynes Dyno and Performance" also located on Highway 258, at 3789 Highway 258, Jacksonville, N.C. Wayne Murphy is a long-time supporter of our diesel events and I want to sincerely thank him for hosting this again for us.

Mike D. and myself are in the process of securing sponsors for this event. I will also get up some directions, hotel information etc. in the next couple of weeks.

So, make your plans to attend this event.

I am happy to announce that Mike D. has secured sponsorship for our event from David Dunbar and his fine Staff @ NADM (National Association of Diesel Motorsports) and also from Bob Wagner @ "Smarty Electronics." My sincere thanks to both of these excellent people for their help.

Additionally, I have secured two (2) local sponsors who have heped us out on our events before, namely, "Sears" and "Advanced Auto" who will be supplying products for giveaway at our event.

We will continue to give the Members updates here as we get them.

Hey buddy, thanks for your call tonight! I am VERY sorry to hear about your truck quitting on you again, but you know you are "talking to the choir" on that! That 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve I owned was the biggest piece of "you know what" out of all the Dodge CTD Pickups that I have owned Pete! I am glad I got rid of it and am SO glad I didn't sell my 96' three years ago. As I told you on the phone, IMHO, you can't go wrong with one of the old 96-98 Dodge CTD 12 valve trucks. I will keep my eye out for you.

As my avatar says, I am a definitely a "Newbie" here, but not to diesel performance or ownership of diesel pickups.
