Automatic tranny fix in N. C.

110K on my 98 12 valve, thinking about a tranny rebuild. No problems now, dont want to get left on the side of the road.

Know of anyone in the Morehead/Wilmington area that can beef up a rebuild or have a rebuild available?

Thanks.

There is Power by Poole in Salsbury, somewhat far away but he does good work and has great reviews.

There are closer shops that will provide service in a more timely manner. Feel free to phone me and I'll point you in a direction down your way.

Power By Poole Dose some of the best work around, Even more so on transmissions! A Tranny is not somthing you take to a shade tree mechanic! I just sent one in, It was out in one day! Suncoast all the way, Not to mention the warranty of suncoast, if somthing happens it will be fixed and correctly... I dont recomend the " Other Guys " Unless you see more than just a few member reviews!

Wow, Lets see some cheerleeding... If your going to suggest someone, I think it should at least be a mechanic? Have ASE Certs? Just because someone offers you a great price to dosent mean you should recomend them I would recomend calling all the local shops, Asking who has certifications and make my choice that way, Ask to see there shop and tools ! I think seeing some papers such as this will keep you out of trouble!
