HELP! Need some advice

Gentlemen & Ladies if there are any,

It appears I may be relocating to the Raleigh area within the next 4/6 months, my wife got a job offer she really can't refuse and since she makes about double my salary already and will be making more its likely we will move out.

We have been looking at buying a place in the Knightdale area, unfortunately the only time I have been to Raleigh was for about 5 hours to do an audit on a local corp rep that lives down there and then I left, we are completely new to the area.

Can i get some opinions or feedback? We have a 7 year old *my step daughter but she is still my little girl* who will be starting 3rd grade next fall. If we buy this home in Knightdale it looks like she will go to a new elementry school thats is a few miles from the development.
Myself I currently work under several homeland security contracts *i call myself the "whore" here at work since i do whatever they say whenever they say* but its mostly administrative/customer service/project management/and person management. I am also the lead performance auditor for our 120 field reps across the US, i'm a "go do that whore" person or "yes" guy. can't complain though.

Any feedback would be great about the area!
Thank you for your time!
