upstate bio-diesel

hey, i'm really thikin about going bio. is there anyone in the gerneral capital district that is using bio diesel, what they are using to make it, how they like it, pros and cons, and if they would be willing to let me talk to them aobut it. i want to switch, as does a freind who owns a diry farm and a horse farm. anmy info would be great. thanks!

i'd be willing to bet that i can count all the bio pumps in the entire state on one hand. and they are all probably pushing mid to upper 4's.

Bio i nfo

Go on the internet under search to how to make biodiesel or journey forever .Is a great one tons of reading, thats what I did. And it works great after you get the hang of it. vegetable oil sodium hydroxide and methanol is all you need to get the tri and diglcerides out of the oil and then a good washing.Yes thats to get the soap out and all the impurities out of the oil also. prefer a cone tank too wash with.
