I'll have to check into the tram. My wife and I will be down for the first whole week of April. We'll be mainly staying with my father-in-law who lives in Basque Farms (however that is spelled) and straying out towards carlsbad for a day or two as well as whatever looks like fun.

OK, I'm really confused here. I read dieselkid92's post and then posted a reply about the tram. Now I look at it and it shows I posted my reply 3 minutes before he posted the original ?

Oh well,
George

Might want to spend a day in old town albuquerque- tons of places to check out and really good places to eat.
There's a few casionos around as well.
The tram is definently a good idea, long as the wind isn't blowing too hard But the view is well worth it. The foods good too.

No idea of what to do out there. IIRC I drove through there in the middle of the night once but not fully sure. Lots of lights. Tram idea sounds like fun though...

The Tram is cool, Old Town, Santa Fe, Toas, Bandelier National Monument and Chaco Canyon (both Indian Ruins). There is lots of interesting things. Here's a link you can go look around. Welcome :: Plan a Trip, Explore NM, Travel Deals, Maps, calendar :: New Mexico Tourism Department
