New Mexico Dyno Day

We are going to be holding our first NMTDR Dyno Day on February 10th, 2007. It will take place at Flash Automotive on Jefferson, between Paseo and Alameda. It will be an all makes dyno day, anything goes, diesels prefered though.
For more specifics or directions, email me at jeffargo@nmtdr.com
Also, if you are not an NMTDR member and would like to attend, send me an email so that we can have an approximate head count.

Hope you can attend!!

It took place in Albuquerque, but we did it about 2 months ago!!!
here are the results from the dyno day:\Just thought Id post the results for those of you interested..
For starters, some thanks:
Mundo, for rounding up sponsors, coordinating with Courtney at flash, etc.
Newly, for making us some sweet T-shirts, stickers and help with coordination.
Mace, for his help with keeping track of all the dyno numbers.
Joe for writing us a magazine article.
All of our sponsors: Flash, Acc Unlimited, Desert rat, trucks unique, central motive power, Auges and Mountain States Ravelco.

First off, the top 5 finishers:
#1 Reymundo Gutierrez 02 Dodge 24 valve 626hp 1141tq
#2 Newly Tolf 04 Chevy LB7 Duramax 554hp 1135 tq(nitrous)
#3 Jeff Argo 98 Dodge 12 valve 546hp 1188tq
#4 Clayton Spurgeon 95 Ford 12 valve* 542hp 1003 tq(twins)
#5 Luis Otero 00 Dodge 24 valve 534hp 1231tq

Originally, we had contemplated classes. The classes we disucssed were the same as may madness. Unlimited means nitrous, water meth, propane, etc. Modified means twins, dual feed CP3's, P-pumped 24V's, etc. Street Stock is #2 only, single turbo.

The classes would have finished as follows:

Unlimited:
#1 Newly Tolf 04 Chevy LB7 554 1135 (nitrous)
#2 Derek Neil 03 Chevy LB7# 506 889 (Water/Meth)

Modified:
#1 Clayton Spurgeon 95 Ford 12 valve* 542 1003 (twins)
#2 Clint Spurgeon SD Ford 12 valve* 451 1087 (twins)

Street Stock:
#1 Reymundo Gutierrez 02 Dodge 24 valve 626 1141
#2 Jeff Argo 98 Dodge 12 valve 546 1188
#3 Luis Otero 00 Dodge 24 valve 534 1231

And the total list follows:
Place Name Brand Engine Horsepower Torque
#1 Reymundo Gutierrez 02 Dodge 24 valve 626hp 1141tq
#2 Newly Tolf 04 Chevy LB7 Duramax 554hp 1135 tq(nitrous)
#3 Jeff Argo 98 Dodge 12 valve 546hp 1188tq
#4 Clayton Spurgeon 95 Ford 12 valve* 542hp 1003 tq(twins)
#5 Luis Otero 00 Dodge 24 valve 534hp 1231tq
#6 Derek Neil 03 Chevy LB7# 506 889 (Water/Meth)
#7 David Salazar 99 Ford 7.3 P.S. 478 980
#8 Aaron Moore 04 Chevy LB7 460 1040
#9 Clint Spurgeon SD Ford 12 valve* 451 1087 (twins)
#10 Jake Foster 05 Dodge 24 v. c.r. 450 980
#11 Rico 02 Chevy LB7 423 896
#12 Mike Ortiz 01 Dodge 24 valve 386 808
#13 James Arnold 03 Dodge 24 v. c.r. 381 876
#14 Mario Otero 01 Dodge 24 valve 355 778
#15 Jesse Elliott 99 Dodge 24 valve 338 712
#16 Jon Riggs 98 Dodge 12 valve 258 692]

Thanks to all that came. We had a great time!!! We are guessin 50-60 attendees, as we had 72 burgers and they were all gone.

New Mexico is a state located in the southwestern region of the United States. New Mexico Dyno have gained adding performance components to the vehicle, and takes care of that! They can perform both pre-installation and post-installation testing, plus provide a documented report showing the power increases experienced by your vehicle.
