General Vegas Info...

Thinking about moving to Vegas area this year from N.C.

I don't gamble but I do have two hobbies outside of my Truck: Fishing and Bowling.

Anyone do either? Any good fishin' spots or local leagues. I'm coming out in 2 weeks to look around so any advice would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Fishing is good from what i hear, we are always on the lake wakeboarding so no fishing.. and as far as a city for bowling, THIS IS IT. Pretty much every Station Casino or Coast Casino (like 15 properties) has about 60 lanes in each one. I bowl in a mens league on monday nites at Texas Station that is pretty competetive, whats your average?

Thanks for the info. I usually bowl 180(ish) depending on who is buying the beer and how much they've bought for me
Texas station hmm... where is the beer league??

City is sounding pretty good so far, AND you have a NASCAR track. Now if there was some fishing.

Any league is a beer league for the most part.

I just got done working NASCAR and they announced that there may be 2 NASCAR events next year! They also have the drag strip, dirt oval, bullring and a paved oval for legend cars and a few dirt bike tracks.

On fishing,,,I do everything! I deer hunt, duck hunt, fish and varmint hunt. It's here, you don't have to worry. There is these reservoirs in Sunny Side that have too many trout. You'll have your limit in the first 2 hours!

Just remember that this is a desert and food is scarce so the animals here are smaller, well except for that 11 hundred pound elk!
