need my gas car to "pass" smog

Hey everyone,

With diesel topping $4 here I need my Saab gas to pass smog. It has codes and problems right now that the Saab dealership cant even figure out. Anyone know of a smog shop that can "pass" it with a engine light on? I pay cash

PM any info. I need my commuter. I drive to moapa/logandale area every day.

150 miles a day is adding up quick in the little pocket book.

Chris

easy fix with a 40 dollar a year post office box and a trip to Mesquite. Now I "live" in the no smog part of clark county and my insurance dropped from 350 a month to 72

Going to say bye bye to the kitty real soon now.

Solid fix.
Did you insurance drop because of where the car is garaged ? or what exactly on the insurance form made it drop. maybe just the zip code of where it was registered?

I moved to Reno last year from California and found out that Washoe and Clark county are the only counties in Nevada that require smog. However I've been sneaking by the California and Nevada vehicle requirements for the last 6 years by registering in Montana, where I entered military service from. But I'm always lookin for a way to beat new taxes and fees.

yes, it dropped because where it is "garaged" lol I would have registered in Wy but driving trucks for NV Energy means I need a NV CDL. So I beat them this way. My tags are still outrageous but at least insurance isn't dry humping me anymore
