Any Good Shops to do Cam in Southern NV?
As the title asks, are there any good shops to do a cam (and springs) in Southern Nevada, or even S. Utah or S. CA? I want to get a Helix 2 cam and springs installed so I'll be ready when Smarty raises the RPM limit to 4000.

I do all my own work so I don't know of any "good" shops here in town. Might want to call up diesel specialists. They are around craig/pecos just after the 15. Cumnspwr

I figured either Diesel Specialists or J&S, if either of them would do a cam. Have you towed anything with the HTT 66/14? I would like to be around 600 HP eventually, but I still need to tow, so I figured a 62/14 would be about the largest I could go without surging. Or twins.

In o/d anything below 10 psi it surges, surges between shifts(yes in an automatic), slow spooling. It's not a good towing setup, but it is one wicked drag setup. I daily drive my truck and can deal with it...the average person would be miserable. It also gets hot with the amount of fuel i'm pushing. But that's with a stock cam and intercooler. If you want big power and still be able to tow, go twins. Cumnspwr

I would go J&S. I deal with them at work, and have gotten a pump from them for my truck. Not sure if they do installations though. Cumnspwr

I'll ask J&S if they do installs. I usually go there to buy Stanadyne anyway.
