larger tire programmer help

anyone here in Vegas of one of those programmers that will flash in my tire size? I have 35" tires on the truck and Tobin Dodge could only change the size in the computer to about a 32-33" tire. I was about 11% off and now about 8-9% off. Thanks.

Brian

Who did you talk to at Towbin? There is a diesel tech there named Andrew, tall guy from Austrailia. He was really helpful on my issues and knows his chit on these things. Maybe ask for him and see if he can change it, I think they can set you up if you 35" or less

you need to take them a pinion count number or something. they can flash the computer with the new number that will fix your problem.

service guy was JR and tech was Donald. Donald didn't seem to know what he was doing because it took him forever to re-code my keys after the TIPM flashes. JR told me they could go to 35", but Donald couldn't figure it out.

they owe me $ for the supposed tire size change, so JR offered me a free LOF. I'd rather have the flash since I hate re-calculating my mileage and constantly guessing my MPH.

I didn't know they went up to 35" tires. I thought they only went up to 33". I'll have to stop by soon and talk with Curtis and have them flash mine up to at least 35's.

I'm just worried because people are saying that with the newest flash on these 6.7's that anything to remap the stock computer will cause it to crash. I spoke with Curtis at Towbin and he said that the Tirepaq from superchips is fine, but I'm not sure if he thought about the new flash when he told me this.

are you able to adjust tire size on someone else's truck using your programmer? would be nice to get mine right on the money for speed.

hey, when you talk with Curtis, ask if they can in-fact bump the tire size up to 35's. I think I just had a tech that didn't know what he was doing. Spoke with Left Coast Diesel and Erik said that the dealer can go up to 35's.

I already spoke with Curtis, but I can call him again. I think that 4wheel parts may flash the truck for a price, have to call them.

yea, let me know what you are able to come up with. would really like to get the tranny shift pattern back to normal and not have to constantly guess my mph.
