just bought a ram 2500 has a lift kit on it with over sized tires,31 something I want to drop back to 265 or 285 rubber had it a few days but milage seems to be poor in the 14-16 mpg range is this normal?? what can I do to get better mpg?? also the speedometer is off by about 7 mph thanks

What size tires do you have? What year truck do you have? These both go into play with MPG. If your speedo is off by 7 mph at about 60 mph that is probably pretty close to an additional 1.5-2 MPG if your speedo was on. Fill in your truck description that displays on the bottom of your post so the guys have a better understanding of what you have going on. Hope I have helped in some way. Josh

i would say get a programmer, so you can adjust your spedo, plus gain hp/tq and also get better mileage.

I have a 99 ram 2500 with the lift kit & big tires, want to drop back to 268-285 to lower it a little, gettin 14-16 mpg checkin it on speedometer what can I do to get better milage?? the 95 with a 5speed tranny instead of auto gets 19-20 thanks denny
