Advanced ticket sales are over and tickets went out today!!!

2nd Annual MDTDC Diesel Drag&Dyno Day July 19 @ Cecil County Dragway

The Mason Dixon Turbo Diesel Club Mason Dixon Turbo Diesel Club will be holding our 2nd Annual Diesel Drag & Dyno Day at Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, Maryland :: CECIL COUNTY DRAGWAY :: on July 19, 2008.

Like last year, this will be a fun filled day of relaxing Test & Tune style racing with a limited number of “Racer’s” permitted as to insure participants can make as many passes as they would like. This is an “Outlaw” style event meaning, trucks can go as fast as they want as long as they can pass NHRA Tech for their times! (No Exceptions!) There will also be a bracket style “Gambler’s Race” organized in the afternoon for those that want the chance to win some money. The “Gambler’s Race” will be an ET Dial-in race and will be $15 to enter and only available to Diesel Trucks with “Racer Tickets”. The Winner will win $400 plus ½ the entry pot. The Runner-up will win the other ½ of the entry pot.

We will be teaming up and sharing the track with about 30 cars from the Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racers’ Assoc. Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racers' Association . This will be a great chance to see some awesome pre-1973 Drag cars up close and in action!!

TNT Diesel Performance TNT Diesel Performance - MD will have their mobile Dynojet 248H on hand to handle the Dyno activities. The dyno fee will be $70 for 3 pulls for people with “spectator” tickets and $60 for 3 pulls for people with “Racer” tickets. Dyno sign-up will be first come, first serve the day of the event.

“Racer” tickets will be $60 at the gate (until they are gone) and will entitle the holder to admission in the track and a Tech Card to race. There will only be 120 “Racer” tickets available. Spectator and Pit-crew admission will be $10 per person at the gate the day of the event.

Any questions regarding this event please contact me at dockboy75@comcast.net or 302-584-7158.

So mark your calendars and spread the word!! Talk with anyone who attended last year’s event about what a great time this event is!!

Thanks,

Greg

Just a few tid-bits

There are plenty of Racer Tickets available at the gate, just don't show up late!!

It is going to be pretty warm!! If you are going to wear shorts and want to race, be sure to bring a a pair of long pants or sweat pants!! YOU MUST HAVE LONG PANTS ON WHEN RACING!!!

If you plan on running quicker than 13.99...BRING A HELMET!!

If running faster than 11.49....have a rollbar or you will be shut down!!

If you will be running nitrous, be prepared to possibly being required to wear a jacket!

If you plan on dynoing, sign up is first come first serve so get there early!

NO BURNOUTS, HOTRODDING, or SPEEDING in the pits!!!! Please be on your best behaviour and treat the facilities with respect. If myself or any track personel see anyone acting irresponsibly.......THEY WILL BE ESCORTED TO THE GATE!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

No glass bottles are allowed.

Finally.................HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

The Mason Dixon Turbo Diesel Club and myself would like to thank all those that came out and participated in this growing event!!!

Special Thanks to the Cecil County Dragway Crew for use of the track, The TNT Diesel Performance Crew for the Dyno operations and NADM for sponsering the Gamblers Race.

Again, Thanks to all who came!!
