Are the dates set for IRP 2008 yet????

Just like the title says.... Looking to put the dates on the calender at work...

Well, not sure. IM going to wait a while and see if they are even having the event. DHRA fired the sled pulling crew ( Gene, Deter ect.) after Texas Nationals in Houston this year. I know those guys worked VERY hard to get the event to where it is / was. I guess I have all winter to decide...

It looked ok to me as a spectator. That is why I am somewhat confused. I dont know Gene and Deter and that gang but they did a great job at Indy, Washington CH, and Houston, from what I could tell. (those were the 3 DHRA events I attended this year)
I absolutely LOVE drag racing. Hell, I dabble a bit myself. But when I go to a Natoinal event, I want to see the Dyno (Dave Dunbar let go too ) and SLED PULLING.

well, Im going to hold you to it then! LOL We typically have a pretty good convoy over. We meet up with the MI crew and by the time we roll in we have ....oh....I believe we has over 30 trucks one year.

Eric posted the dates on a couple of other sites along with the new rule changes.

Indy: May 30th & 31st
Utah: August 16th (Tentative)
Texas: Oct. 10th & 11th
