truck pull dates for elk river

Here you go... We just finalized the dates for the Sherburne county fair and the ffa tractor/truck pull. Both on the fair grounds. We added a few truck classes to get more people to come......

The fair pull will be on saturday july 21st. I believe that it will start at 1:00pm with regristration starting at 10:00am. The classes will be as follows.... Stock class 6500lb gas, and 9000lb diesel. Pro street (old street legal class) 6500lb. and then (here you go andy) OPEN class 6500lb and 8200lb.

The FAA pull will be on sunday august 26th. starting around 11:00am. But I am not 100% sure of the starting time as we didn't discuss it. last year was 11:30am but I know we bumped the fair pull up an hour. The classes will be the same as the fair pull...

If anyone has questions please feel free to ask them... I will end up being the liazon between the board and here.. When we get the flyers printed I will let everyone know as you can save some $$$ by preregistring I think it is $5.00 more day of pull.

I know that I am not supposed to say anything about "track secrets" or anything but I will only say ONE THING The elk river track has been known to be VERY HARD. I don't say that to scare anyone but just a little heads up. "bring your bald tires".

Also for those of you who want to come and watch we will have plenty of classes of tractors from 5000lb out of field to 9500lb open class. There will also be 3 classes of semi's light and heavy +- 20k and an unlimited/open class where pretty much anything goes! It will be a fun day for most. I will be working both pulls so I will have my hands full trying to work the pull and trying to pull in 2 classes myself. Truck and tractor.

andy.

yes that is what I was implying... I don't think we made the 8200 diesel only.. But I am not sure, It was getting late and another member's kids were screaming and running around and were a little distracting.. The kids wanted to go home. So I am not for sure about that... Is it a big deal??? If so I can make a call and find out.

On the open class "rules" We are using heartland pulling rules so whatever they say goes.. I saw a copy of them printed off the internet but they were pretty vague. As always if there is anything in particular you are wondering about drop me a line and I can find out for you "objectivley" if you would like. otherwise you can go here Heartland truck Pullers
