MHP pulling over diesels

On my way back from Butte today I kept seeing Diesel pick-ups pulled over, all with trailers.

Anyone know if they're dippin tanks? Or maybe some law change?

Maybe it was a weight station issuse. Highway patrol will dip tanks sometimes

A buddy of mine in FL, was telling me DOT had a 72 hour inspection quota of some sort? He was hauling 4 cars from GA to FL on I95
