when i was looking for mine I found that Lithia had good prices. And I90 Motors usually has some pretty good late models they get directly from litha.

Infact i think i would check I90 first.

About 7 hrs from Billings is Dave Smith in Kellogg, ID. They got a lot of used and have great prices on new, well worth the drive. Take a look on the internet and see what they got. usautosales.com - Dave Smith Motors - Hassle Free Buying - Autos Trucks Vans Accessories

It's kind of a hike from Montana, but there is a dealer here in Oregon that has two new 07 5.9L quadcab SLT's selling for $31,000. Southwest airlines has tickets for $89 one-way. Drive it home. Just a thought.

I had excellent bids from Yellowstone country in Livingston and Matching price in Fremont down in Powell. Lithia treated me like I was stupid and couldn't buy the truck anywhere else. I went with the one in Powell because it was a 3500 in the color I wanted. Check the the little things on the truck like off road package vs. SLT minimums. Dave smith and lithia both have trucks that appear the same but are missing things like rear fenderwell inserts tow hooks etc. These dont matter to many people but allow them to sell for a little less because they have less in them. Hope this helps.

I should be fair. My truck made an emergency trip to Lithia last fall cuz the lift pump failed in town. The service department handled the retrofit fast and friendly. I was suprisingly pleased.

the trucks on the lot at lithia usualy have tow hooks, mud flaps, fender liners and factory hitch, unless it came as a dealer trade from another dodge dealer, dave smith does not put any of these on to keep their prices looking low, keep in mind if you dont get a factory hitch, the only way to get the class 5 hitch is if it is ordered that way cause its welded to the frame, you can only buy a class 4 to add on.

Yellowstone Country in Livingston will price match any price you can bring into them. I don't have personal experience on this, but my boss use that when buying his durango. Another option for him if he doesn't mind driving a couple hours.
