new emissions problems

Has anyone ever had problems with the new emissions ont the 6.7 L? I have had is plug a few times ina a about 15000. Is there a solution or do I have to live with it?

Im curious to know about the DPF in MT driving conditions also. It would seem to me that Montanans may have less problem because we almost have to drive long highway miles periodically.

there is a new cleaning procedure that just came out the dealer can do.

nice another montanan, search the for the deletes and do them and you'll never have any more problems with the dpf plugging up, and then thank God that montana doesn't have any emissions laws

take the dpf and the egr off. runs a way better and mileage takes a great jump.

dpf and egr came off my truck no probelms and my mileage is up alot.

My truck is stock and sees mostly highway and interstate driving. Under those conditions, I haven't had any problems with the dpf plugging up. Hunting this year though has been another situation altogether. The hours of slow cruising where the filter doesn't have time to clean out takes its toll and I've had the message come up a few times on the overhead regarding the filter starting to become plugged. Those messages went away after I was able to get back out on the highway and run the truck at the higher speeds. Just my personal experiences, but may help you fencer. I plan on removing all the emissions garbage once the xmas bonus shows up this year to rid myself of any problems in the future.
