Best local pulls

I was wondering where all of the best Missouri pulls are at. Not really talking about the nationally sponsored events like the one held at Jeff City, but more like county fairs. Examples: Montgomery City and Palmyra. So lets hear it, where are they at??

Found this NWMTPA (Northwest Missouri Tractor Pullers Association) I suspect they will change the schedule to 2007 when it gets closer to summer and they are sure on things..

We went to Oak Grove last year, looked like a pretty good turnout. They had some pretty good powered pullers show up. I think Midwest Diesel Performance sponsors some there.

Not sure of your location but here's the places I check for central Missouri.

These 3 associations all offer diesel truck classes at some point during the year. You'll have to check with them to see which ones, most of the time it depends on if they can get somebody to sponsor the class. The MMTTPA just sanctioned a diesel truck class for this year, so if you join their group you can pull at their events.

MHTTPA
No website, they use a sled called "The General" at most pulls sponsored by Scrivs Concrete. I hooked with them at Russellville, MO and Eldon, MO last year.

Lastly most of these guys use the X-Factor sled headquartered in Jefferson City, MO. They post their sled schedule which helps you find the "brush pulls" that may not have a website with a schedule.

Bungart Motorsports Schedule

Hope that helps, a lot of it is word of mouth, pullers calling each other and such. Watch the forums, most of the time somebody will post an announcement of an upcoming event. Hope to see you there.
