First real upgrade? hmmm???

I am looking to do my first of real upgrades to my truck what do you guys think? I was thinking AIRDOG 150.. then I was thinking S&B intake, My other thought was... a lot of people I have tlaked to have said that these intakes are good up to around 300 horse so I was thinking myabe I could switch it up and do injectors as a first mod?? not sure... maybe you all could help me decide...

Your going to want to either do fuel system upgrades first.. Your a long time away from injectors.. That won't do nothin but flow as much as your fuel system can flow.. Then on the stock single turbo all that fuel is going to make things really hot.. If I were you. Id start with the basics..

Intake
Aftermarket Exhaust 4" or 5"
Smarty for tuning

Then Id do
AD150
VP44 Mods

You would like the power of just all that right there!! Then a transmission wouldn't be long! You can burn more fuel with more air.. Air and fuel is power.. But to much fuel and not enough air is no good..

Hey buddy, I gotta be honest with ya, you can fab up your own intake that will work just as good as any name brand deal out there. Ive seen some pretty good looking intakes for well under a hundred dollars, you could do a willys whistler for like 65 bucks even. Im a big DIY junkie and I made my own intake that I believe is better that any big name one.

I tell ya what, Ive got a big honkin cone air filter we might be able to do something with on your rig.....to save you some money. PM me with your number again if you want this week Ill help you out and see what we cant fab up.

Then after saving a couple hundred on the intake we can weld you up a muffler delete pipe that will flow more than enough for your rig now, we can do that for like 20 bucks......

And you still have some cash leftover for whatever........

I got some stuff you need I got that AEM intake I''l take $75 for, I will have either a juice w/att or quad adernaline I will make you a heck of a deal on. I can get you a STEAL on a brand new exhaust I might even sell my stack setup really cheap. I would be woried about a fuel system and tranny first though. What is your FP running? If you dont have a guage for it yet you need to get one ASAP. I'm gonna do my FP on the steering column and the rest on the pillar when I get around to doing gauges. And last but not least I may be stepping up in injectors but you will need some more air to run these for sure.

I will let you know about that intake as soon as I off load that grille guard. I need to get a second job I think to get my truck where I want it to be. If this Grille guard would sell I will buy that intake from you. I have my full pillar with fuel pressure and EGT and Boost. but I only have the gauges I need to find out what all I need to hook them up.

Its super easy to make a intake for your truck and it works great! Buy a 5" prebent 90 exhaust elbow and it will replace your factor top 90 elbow. Then get you a cone filter and put it on. Buddy did this and works great!!
