I'd start with exhaust, it would seem that starting with air intake so the engine could breath better wouldn't do as good because you can't evacuate the air as quickly.

However I'm just trying to apply some common sense to something I really don't know about.
But I do know for sure your engines a big air pump, and the easier flow in and out the better.
I'm going to do exhaust, air filter box, intercooler, and intake all at the same time, then a programmer.

yeah did a intake first and lost the muffler which helps it out a little. I am needing an exhaust but the build is gonna have to wait a little while till I get some more money while the wife and I pay off a few things..

I saw a post somewhere that had the step by step instructions on how to use the BHAF on a 2005. I'm trying to find out now where I saw it, I,ve seen a couple of pics and kinda remember but would like to find the article again. My buddy just opened his garage for business specializing in dodge cummins performance. He did all my work plus all my friends. We all have BHAF's 2 97's 3 01's now a guy wants 1 on his 05. He's putting a set of twin turbos on a friends truck, they look awesome. I guess that's another thing I'll have to get, besides the hot rod vp44.
