MN Dyno Day, Oct 11th!

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, it's that time of year again.

It's time for the 6th annual Dyno day at Hi Tech Motorsport in Elk River. It will be October 11th, starting at 9am.
As we do every year, it is a First come First served event. We will start
at 9am. This year we are limited at 25 trucks across the rollers. Last
year the crew at Hi Tech did an awesome job and did 30. Last year we also
had to turn away 9 trucks, because we were at 30 by 10:30am! Cost this
year is $75 for 2 CLEAN runs back to back. The guys have gotten Much
better over the years on spooling bigger chargers and Twins. Last year
Andy Thomas laid down over 600hp and 1200tq with a single turbo!

This year we will have a Pig Roast with the proceedes going towards our own
MNTDR for future meets and possibly a Sled Pull, Drag Race or other events.
There will also be a donation bucket available for those that would like
to just donate to the group. There will be a future monthly newsletter for
our MNTDR members, but this is still in the works. Everyone will be kept
posted on things as they transpire. If you have any questions or comments
please feel free to join us at our monthly meetings, the 2nd monday of each
month at 7pm, Triple D Performance. Please stay tuned, as the day will be
changing as soon as December.

Back to the dyno day!

Hi Tech's address is:
16820 Highway 10
Elk River, MN
763 712 9088

They are located just east of the HWY 10/169 split on the south side of the
Highway.

This event is open to ANY make or model DIESEL vehicle. Sorry for the gas
powered folks, but our demand for diesel has exceeded our past where we
could run a Hot Rod at the end of the day. Sorry there is no
pre-registration for the event this year. It is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED
event.

If you have any questions feel free to call or e-mail Josh Peters at:

Overall it was a great day. Awesome weather, awesome food!

I apologize that I didn't get signs up or explain to people more the reason for the $7 for the lunch time meal. What we were trying to accomplish was, one pay Lane for his time and effort. Two, get some extra to put towards making the event bigger. Something like a truck pull, drag race or portable dyno at one or both events. At some point we would like to make an event like everyone hears about nationally, but right here in our own back yard.

There are some things we are working on, but it all takes money. This club is put together and run for you guys. All the events and things we do are because that's what you guys want. Thank each of YOU for making this event what it is every year. I hope that we can keep it growing year after year and make it something that people recognize nationally.

Thanks for the great event guys!
Josh
