Fuel system question??
First off I'd like to say hello, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce my self to the locals. I am the lucky owner of an '012500ctd, with a p216 code, and 5lbs of fuel pressure. Needless to say I've purchased everything I need for an entirely new fuel system here is the list.*new VP44 *Holley black lift pump (150 GPH 14psi) *1/2" vulcan draw straw *1/2" remote mount 2micron fuel filter *BD early warning sensor *fuel pressure guage My intent is to run half inch line all the way if possible. My problem is that I don't know what fittings I'll need hook up to the stock fuel filter and what fittings I need to get from the stock filter to the injection pump. My other problem is that I don't really want to use rubber lines because I have been told by the tech inspectors themselves at BIR that they are not allowed to pass anything that has more than 12 inches of rubber line in one span. I have only been able to find brake line in 3/8. does anyone have any other ideas?

Well this is kinda old but in case you haven't found this out yet. P0216 doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot. I got that code on my '01 when the LP went out. I sold the truck a while later and the guy who bought it had been running it for a year or two and had no VP44 issues. The LP can set the code for the IP w/o doing any long term damage...at least on mine that's what it did.
