kalamazoo area
Anyone in the Kalamazoo area that is knowledgeable of the 12 valves? Im having trouble after doing my injectors, but i dont want to drive 2.5 hours to go home and work on the truck. The truck starts, and idles fine, but at part throttle it sounds alittle choppy, but WOT the truck rips, and sounds fine. Even if there are any shops in the area i could have take a look at it i would be willing to do that.

When did this start to happen? Was it right after you put them in or after a few days?

i'm a couple hours away and my buddy works on them who's about 10 mins from me. sounds like a sticky injector, yes they are new but that's what it sounds like to me.

I'm only 45 mins away, and i agree with sticky injector. Before i completely condemn an injector, has the timing been set ? Did you do anything else along with injectors ? I could probably round up a trailer go get it and bring it back to my house and figure out what's goin on from there. Right or wrong, Chaz can fill you in about me. Curtis

I6- The truck runs run, just alittle rough when the convertor first locks in, and when i take off in less than 5-6lbs of boost. going down faster than 45mph it sounds fine too. I could have Wally send me another set of injectors to try, and see if that cures it. Chaz did timing on my truck, to 17 degrees

No idea on fuel pressure, all i know is it ran fine before the injectors. The truck still has a ton of power, just runs alittle choppy at the lower boost levels

Since i have owned the truck, they have not been adjusted, but the previous owner could have. The injectors i put in are used, i got sent the wrong ones on accident, so it could very well be the injectors. I plan on getting some new 435s and installing them to see if that changes them. Last resort i take the truck to HTS and have them do it, im just not sure if i want to shell out the cash to have them do it.
