Well now were trying like heck to find a stronger flex plate than stock. Went to ebay and found some but sent them some questions with no replies yet.

Charles,
That's the same flexplate I'm going to be putting in.

Some answers -
It is for the cummins,
IT is quite a bit thicker than stock,
not sure of tensile or torsional strength but supposed to be tested to 1500 psi pressures,
supposed to be spun to 13K for balance.

They've come down on their price, I paid 97 + shipping from the same place.

Keep us posted on that Flexplate, almost too good to be true (for the price that is) It does state that the plate is SFI Approved, so if the approval is legit I would say that those plates are a great find.

I can get a plate to you guys for Saturday if your in a Bind, but all I stock is the SunCoast Laminated Plates and they are a bit more pricey than the Ebay Guy.

Well I finally got word back from the one ebay member about the SFI flex plates. He sts that the flex plate is twice the thickness of a stock 1st gen. Warranty is only from defects and not if broken. They did go on to say that they are twice as strong as a stock 2nd gen

Charles,
you really didn't expect them to warranty the 'plate not knowing what HP and TQ you'd be throwing at it ???
