I looked into it and it seems like a good idea if you don't tow heavy. I also think that high hp#'s might be too much for them if they put a restriction on towing.

I did that on my 2000 chevy tahoe with no problems. I would leave one fan running to maintain air flow through the intercooler and the other cycle for temp.

Love them to keep it short. I did not do it for MPG, and have not noticed any improvement due to the fans. Winter is where i put my money on the elec. fans. Heat time is greatly improved.

I'll add this as well. A/C is colder and more constant for the little bit i've used it this summer so far. I've towed VERY heavy with this setup as well. Never even thought about getting above 190 - 200. this is with a 160 t stat, back road driving, although the weather wasn't HOT either....... I'm done now.
