Recommended diagnostic software/data loggers for laptops

Anyone have any recommended software for data logging that works on our trucks? I'm use to running software like Vag-Com on VW diesels with a VP37 that would show the values from the MAP sensor, timing, speed, RPM, and every other value from the other sensors and was wondering if there's anything like that avalible that would work for our trucks.

I'm taking my time to research this before using it, it's not like vag-com, it's software that the WRX people use for tuning, here's a how to someone started for a Cummins. I'm still looking for something that can give raw data on the go like vag-com but I'm not sure if the values would be correct since the fueling box fools the computer.

They'd probably be better at sled pulling since they can get passed 4000 rpm without missing.
