Ohh man some cops

Well lets see last night started out great and then took a crappy turn. I was driving through downtown Almont at about 10:00 p.m. and a cop started following me. He pulled me over up by the IGA. Came up to the car and told me my truck was to big and the tinted windows had to go. Never met more of an as****e cop. He was not even polite about anything he opened my door to check the GVW of the vehicle and said oh i see your a 9000lber. He then proceeded to go to my back bumper and measure it. Thank god i was 1 inch under the legal limit of 30" to the bottom of the bumper. But then to top it off he gave me a ticket for my tinted windows!

The window tint ticket should be just a Fixit Ticket right??

That stinks. I know they are bad around the Warren area for tint, my friends used to get pulled over all the time for it until they gave up and took it off.

Knock on wood, I haven't been pulled over when I'm up there, but I hear they usually don't bother with out of state plates up there and tint.

Ya its just a fix it ticket. But it still bugs me that he was a d**k about it.
And I dont think he liked how loud my truck was either. But i was nice and polite the whole time

ya, there's some real D**k cops out there, about a month ago, i was commin off my road to go into town, and i wasn't even to the end of my road, and there was a cop comin the cross road, and he was already slowing down to turn around to pull me for tint..what a crock...i can't even leave my own road before they pull me

That's surprising they gave you all that trouble in Almont. It's kinda a speed trap in places, but seems they'd be cool with done-up trucks. Now in Rochester, I wouldn't be surprised. I take it easy going through downtown there. I was with a buddy that got ticketed for a loud exhaust in his Mustang, but I've been okay with my trucks. I take it easy on the smoke thing.

The best part is while this whole thing is happening a lifted black powerstroke goes flying by blowing smoke everywhere. He easily had to be bigger than my truck. But the cop didnt pay any attention to him.

I drive through downtown Almont prolly 3-4 times a week... and this is the first time i have even been pulled over or looked at twice by the cops. I dont think its a case of hes local i think its a case of a bored cop

or a cop that just needs to get laid.

i've gone by the cop shop in my home town rolling coal, and eveyone of them give me the . the only time they give me the stink eye is if i am inpeding traffic with the smoke, if there is no one following me or in the oncoming lane, its not a problem. but the town to the north, they pulled me over in my dads powerstroke on a parts run for the exhaust for "excessive start" and "excessive smoke". i ad the stock exhaust laying in the bed of the truck with the rotted out muffler in there to, and he changed the excessive noise to excessive smoke.
