Need a recommendation for a shop for a starter rebuild. I've replaced the contacts and plunger, batteries are testing out okay, starter just clicks when the key is turned.

We use a place in Gonzales for all of our work stuff. I'll get the name and number for you tomorrow.

Replaced both positive cables with 2ga from autozone. Fired right up. Anyone have any thoughts as to why I can't run them until I can make/order the correct size? I'm thinking of going with the complete set from "custom battery cables", they're kinda pricey at almost $300. That said, the midnight tow bill to get the truck home was $125! However, with needing tires, front end rebuild, blower motor, and now battery cables, I'm looking at what NEEDS to be done to keep it on the road.
The starter contact rebuild from Larry B's does make a noticeable difference.
