Thumbs down Ignition switch problems

Has anyone else had any Ignition switch problems my buddy said his done that and it was the key switch i was just driving down the road i stopped at a red light my abs light and brake light came on and my a/c stopped blowing my compresser still works and is cooling but it wont blow also the abs box under the hook keeps going i had to take out the fuse anyone else had this problem or know anyone that can tell me something about it or where to look to find out something i am sure it is a stealer {dealer} part and is like more $$$$$$ than i want to pay.

not sure this will help any but,...every now and then my air would keep blowing even after the truck was off and the key was out of the ignition. it drained my batteries one time cause i didnt notice it was on. so i took it down to my pop shop mechanic( who charges as much as a dealer haha but does good work) and they said it was a bad ignition switch. i never had any other problems with the stuff you had but i thought i'd throw this out there as an idea. Works like a charm now....hasn't done it since.

Ignition Switch: about $35
Labor: about $50

I noticed our trucks are about the same too. lets see how many 03's hit this thread with a similar problem. haha. Could be a factory defect type from that year who knows.

Hey guys i finally got my ac fixed i took the whole damn dash out and couldnt find anything i tested all the wires and it was the Ignition Switch the whole time a $15.00 Part, man am i pissed lol just thought i would let you know thanks for the help....
