EGR block off plates

I've already ordered a Gen 2 BADP 4" DPF delete from BADP. I was thinking that my next step would be one of your EGR delete plates. Would this cause my truck to throw a code? I do not have a programmer so I can't clear any codes. Thanks for your time.

It will throw soft codes. They are not harmful, they just cause the check engine light to stay on. You would need a tuner in order to clear the codes and keep the light off.
