I doubt there will be another one because the owner of Porky's was pissed because we only had a total of 12 trucks and were expecting atleast 30. She added extra staff to be ready for the large crowd, that didn't show up, and she was complaining about how she had to pay them for the whole night and send the extras home early. So who knows what will go on now.

As much time was given to people to mark their schedule there should not have been this Oh I forgot stuff, if you say you’re going to make then you need to show up!!! none of this oh I’m tired stuff crap, I got that out of two of my friends that said they were going to be there then *^&* in are pockets. I love how everyone is such a big diesel fanatic and cry when there is no where to go to talk and see other guys trucks. So those that did show I would not mention anything about why we do nt have anything in the Iowa for this. I now Diesel wrencher, Cummin not Strokin, I and Up Country Fab did a lot especially back Up Country Fab spent a lot of their time try to get people to come to this thing to have people not call to say they aren’t going to make, so they makes them look like real fools and hard for them to get a place to book something like this again

MY final words

Except for the guys I just mention I will not try as hard to spread the word about other get togethers because those who miss will just do the same thing again!

exactly, and thats why i said from the beginning, i will TRY to make it but no promises, as my truck has been down for a while and unfortunately still is. If my truck wasnt down, i would have been there, hands down as i am the ch. pres. I definitly do not like missing these events as i am the one "in charge" and truly do feel bad when i have no choice but to miss them. I had all intentions of driving my moms car down there, up until she decided to leave and left me hanging.

So, for the future meets and such, i will try as hard as before to be there, and definitly should as i HOPE to have my truck at least scheduled to go into the shop by Aug 1. I am at this time tossing around ideas for a fall gtg/meet/camping trip/weekend of fun or whatever you guys want. However, as mentioned above, its not fun when you tell someone youll be there without question and then dont show up, its kinda like missing a day of work and expecting to not get in trouble/scolded the next day/time. That being said...Lets try and pull together and see what we can get set up for late Sept. to mid Oct and see where we can find a place to to get something happeneing.

Well, Hi All...I just dropped baqck in to check on the group and saw this thred. I have moved into the DM area and will be checking on future get-togethers...The wife and I are shopping for a Dodge Cummins now. She finely decided that we really do need one...(what a long crusade that has been)
So, keep posting meetings and think about Red Rock as a possible site. I live in P'ville now and could do some scouting of need be.
Okay. Later...
