Twins, P-pump conversion (as well as injectors), water/(meth?...for sure water)....that's about all I could see, anyway. And, no intercooler, just a straight shot to the intake manifold...

Why the hell would you put it in a 1500...unless it was just the doors off a 1500...

He wants to do some racing. Half ton= less weight faster times. I am pretty sure that is the same engine from the black extended cab truck he had at Area diesel last year that only did 565hp or so. It had twins in that truck. I saw him break that truck at a pull and spoke with him early last winter. He told me he wanted something different that wouldn't be broken all the time. It is definitely a good start. I really expected way more power with the way it idled and started. but then again, it may still have some bugs as well. They all do after a fresh build.

I just figured he'd have to build the 1/2 ton to handle the torque/weight....and that at the end of the day it'd be easier to use a 3/4 ton...

That was him?...man was he disappointed with his numbers last year

You aren't kidding. He kept dynoing to beat Mike Tomy with that 2nd gen twin 24v. Atleast no one puked antifreeze on their dyno like I did last year. LOL I know how that disappointed feeling is all too well. LOL
