mine doesnt that im aware of by my chrome is peeling on my rear bumper....

ya mine on my 2001 did that too i tryed to peel it off and cut the heck out my fingers id say just replace it i did with a flat black one looks good i think. u can find them on ebay cheep mine was like 40 bucks
