Meet #1 Finished........Time for planning stages of Meet #2

Alrighty guys, Just finished up meet #1. Had 7 guys show up, CSnyder, DOODAH,Snoxracer AMSman, TurboTrent, someone who didnt fill out the form and myself. A good time was had by all (as far as i know) I was hoping for a few more people but this being the first one i know quantity comes with time. I was hoping to snap some pics of everyones rides but we all kinda left when we needed to and i never got a chance to get any. It will be a lot better weather next go around though for pics and videos.

Anyway....................Im going to leave this one open for all you guys. Where should we hold our next meet and when. Just for the record, as of right now im working 8a-5p on Saturdays and the weekdays for me and im sure many of you are out of the question. However, Winnebago has a plant shutdown the week of July 4th and the week of Christmas. Either way, let me know what you guys want and i will see how it all sounds............

Let the ideas fly!

Somewheres in the middle of the state for me, or more west! Storm Lake isn't too far, and is supposed to be nice for gatherings. I do think we need to meet somewhere central, though, to try to pull as many members as possible -- especially as our chapter grows. I really wish I could have made it!! the four hour trip, one way, through the closed roads was a deterent as much as my corporate audit! At least the internet worked, and I was able to order all the needed parts to fix and upgrade my fuel system!!

Smile Next meet and greet in IOWA!!

Hey guys,

The 4th of july should be a great day to have a meet and greet. In my home town of waukon we go on a drunkin canoe trip in the morning.(ever seen kegs on the river) Then all that could be followed up by a diesel meet and EAT. We could then cap it all off with a good diesel smoke show and fireworks..... Feed back will be nice. THANKS

sounds great to me....any chance of throwing in time for mods/working on trucks?

Im also thinking about having one in May as well sometime to kinda break up the long period between meets. I was thinking maybe someplace like Cedar Falls Raceway. I know they have some open type test n tune days there.

Well Chris, you know the 4th is my birthday, we always have the big deal down at Harpers and my folks place, but if you had something like that, I think I could manage, since it would be just right up the road aways!!LOL
I dont know about the others though, like we talked at the meet, it always seems like everyone has kindof their own traditional thing going on ... but who knows, Im up for it I guess.....
