Why’s it so quite?

I can’t believe it that a little freezing ice keeps everybody in IA hid away I thought you all were a hardy bunch of people (well I thought you all were when I lived in the Mason City area many years ago) but I guess maybe now days that’s only for snow I’ll admit the 15 years of winter ice storms in the Columbia Gorge near Portland Oregon got me use to sleet, freezing rain, ice and ice pellets! Ok I’ll also admit we used tire chains and studded tires on the vehicles to help get around but you all here use more ice melt then it snows in the Portland OR Let the fun begin

I'm waiting for mine to go out, my tree out back is resting on the power lines now. Won't be long

I made a trek through town. Not bad. Country roads are probably a different story

It was the focus. The CTD is outside covered in an inch of ice
Those little cars sure do handle nice in the inclimate weather.

Not my Saturn! It is two light, the tires are too bald, and I am too tall!

Actually, it is a very, very fun car. My little rally car!

I was at work all day in Denison. Just rain showers until after 18:30, then a little sleet starting. Looks like all around Denison/Manilla it got nasty, but has held off the big punches yet. Tomorrow will suck...

I miss the snowy winters in N. Wisconsin, where I at least could play some! This southern Iowa version of winter is lousy!

You ain't missed anything this year. Just now we are getting enough snow that I might need to clean the driveway for only the second time this season.........

Here is photos of what we have out my way. 1 shows 13.5 and the other shows 19.5 inches of snow What surprised me is that it warmed up so fast to 36.8 degrees and its now on the way back down.
